Boosting Support for Children, Young People, and Families in Powys

We are excited to be able to inform you that PAVO has two new roles to support Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) in Powys. We have:

● Two Community Connectors, one for North Powys and one for South Powys,  both working two days a week, supporting CYPF from birth through to 25 years old.
● A Volunteering Officer covering the whole of Powys, supporting ages 14-25 working three days a week.

Working collaboratively in Powys with the Child Poverty Task Force we aim to actively involve and promote local partnership working through collaboration, community engagement, co-design, capacity building, volunteering, networking, and recognition. These efforts will maximise the impact of the projects in addressing child poverty in Powys.

We would love to look at how we can work more closely with you and the teams you work with. These roles are funded until 31st March 2025 and your support in evidencing the need for this work would be greatly appreciated.

Together we hope to play a part in strengthening support networks for CYPF in Powys, developing strong, sustainable relationships across sectors for the future.
