Wales Arts Health & Wellbeing Network January Network Meeting

We look forward to welcoming our members to the first network meeting of 2025!

As well as being an opportunity to hear about the latest news and updates in the sector, we will focus on some significant and innovative work taking place within Mental Health in Wales.

Speakers:

Simon Jones, Head of Policy & Campaigns, Mind Cymru

Simon will share an overview of the state of mental health in Wales today, drawing on a range of pieces of work undertaken by Mind Cymru over the last 18 months including The Big Mental Health Report published in November 2024

David Cutler, Director, The Baring Foundation

David will share an overview of their grant-making programme that promotes the role of creativity in the lives of people with mental health problems, which includes the Arts and Minds programme in Wales.
