Understanding how to support people with the digital skills needed to access Pension Credit online
Leading on from our successful webinar series related to Universal Credit, we have worked collaboratively with the Department for Work and Pensions to provide information about how you may support someone with the digital skills to access Pension Credit online.
21 December is the last possible date to make a successful backdated claim in order to receive the Winter Fuel Payment.
Therefore, we are announcing a new online training session on the topic ‘Understanding how to support people with the digital skills needed to access Pension Credit online’.
This is a training session for members of staff and volunteers who may support people with the digital skills needed to access Pension Credit online.
Within it, we will discuss the personal skills required to support someone to get online and consider the transferable digital skills associated with accessing online services.
We will discuss overcoming barriers to getting online and signpost to a number of useful resources for supporting people with getting online and where to begin when it comes to submitting a Pension Credit application.
