The Odin Charitable Trust makes a small number of grants annually to UK registered charities. Grant awards can range from relatively small amounts to around £50,000.

The Trust has three trustees. One of its trustees, the Cherry Payne Beach Trust Corporation Limited, is also involved in the administration of 3 other charities:

The Derrill Allatt Foundation, which has a focus on the prevention or relief of poverty or financial hardship anywhere in the world but primarily in South and Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, Russia, Iraq, Pakistan, Portugal and the UK by the provision of grants to UK based organisations. The Foundation also promotes social inclusion, the relief of sickness, help for young people, promotes the provision of public arts and alleviating the suffering of animals.
The New Square Charitable Trust, which operates a general grant-making policy, providing funds for such charitable object or institution as the trustee thinks fit, and
The British Friends of Edith Wolfson Hospital, which provides grants for the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital.

The Odin Charitable Trust carries out its objectives by providing grants to UK registered charities. While it supports a wide range of charitable causes, it gives preference to charities which support:

o The arts.
o Care for people who are disabled and disadvantaged.
o Hospices.
o The homeless.
o Prisoners families.
o Refugees, gypsies and tribal groups,
and
o Research into false memories and dyslexia.

The trustees do not anticipate any significant changes to the charity or its activities over the next 2-5 years. Its intention is to meet the following objectives:

1. To ensure the investment performance achieves the criteria set by them so that there are sufficient funds to meet their grant giving activities, and
2. To continue to make grants at a similar, if not, higher level.

The Trust does not award grants to individuals.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.

All requests for grant support should be by letter or e-mail (to odincharitabletruste@gmail.com) containing the following:
