The C T Thomas Trust is a discretionary grant-making charity that supports a wide variety of charitable projects and organisations across the UK. The Trust considers itself to be a broad, generalist and predominantly reactive grant maker, with a policy of selecting the best projects from applications received in order to achieve the maximum possible beneficial social impact.

In particular, the Trust’s grant-making seeks to alleviate need and distress, and help people lead more fulfilling lives. To ensure a good level of social impact, the Trust prefers to fund organisations which experience real difficulty in obtaining funding from elsewhere and which demonstrate evidence of effective work meeting a compelling need. For this reason, many of the grants are aimed at funding smaller organisations and those without public appeal.

During the year ended 31st March 2024, the Trust awarded grants totalling £95,250.
