Kings Trust Explore March 2025

The Explore programme is designed to help build young people’s confidence; helping them to improve their teamwork, and to build on their problem solving and communication skills and help them feel more prepared for going back into education, or to gain steps towards employment, training, or volunteering opportunities.
The programme will include a mixture of indoor and outdoor led activities.
It is a FREE 4-week programme being delivered from our centre in Cardiff over three days a week.
We will be holding a Taster Day on 19/2/2025 at our Cardiff centre. This is a great way for young people to meet the staff and to find out a little more about the programme.
On this 4 week Explore Programme, the young people will have an opportunity to:
·         Work on their personal and social skills and gain some life skills through our confidence to travel scheme with Transport for Wales.
·         Get involved in a mixture of activities to gain skills that will help them on their pathway to employment, education, or volunteering.
·         Confidence building and communication sessions will help young people to work together to develop their teamwork and problem-solving skills.
·         We will run wellbeing in nature days and other Outdoor education activities alongside our delivery partners.
During the programme, young people will have support from our youth development leads and have access to up to 3 months of further support for them post programme, which may see young people progress onto other Prince’s Trust programmes or support from their own mentor.
