- Employer Support Roadshow – At this event, adult social care employers can learn more about our offer to them, with sessions on anti-racism in social care, compassionate leadership and understanding your digital potential
- Wellbeing and leadership day for adult social care managers – This is a face to face event in Wrexham at the beginning of March, focusing on wellbeing of managers and compassionate leadership.
- Regulation Workshops for Adult Social Care Employers – We have just advertised an event for employers with a good insight into our regulations processes where they can map out their journey, ask questions and support us to make improvements.
1) Employer Support Roadshow

Come and hear about the services, support and resources available to you, including:

There’ll also be sessions on:

These roadshows are for:
Employers of registered adult social care workers, including Responsible Individuals and registered managers.
Refreshments and lunch will be available.
Attending this session will count towards your continuous professional development (CPD) if you’re registered with us.
2)Wellbeing and leadership day for adult social care managers.
Date: 11 March, 2025
Time: 9:30am – 3pm
Location: Alyn Waters Country Park

If you want to be a more compassionate leader, the best place to start, is with yourself.
This event is an opportunity to find out more about the things you can do to support your own wellbeing as a manager.
This will be followed by an introduction to compassionate leadership, where you can learn more about the importance of compassion for improving outcomes, staff well-being and retention and your organisation’s culture.
This session is for:
Employers of registered adult social care workers, including Responsible Individuals and registered managers.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

3)Regulation Workshops for adult social care employers
Date: 26 March, 2025
Time: 9:30am – 3pm
Location: Llandudno Junction
40 spaces available (maximum 2 per organisation)
This event will focus on your journey as an employer through different parts of the registration and fitness to practise process. Social Care Wales staff will share information on registration, qualifications and fitness to practice, and will be able to answer questions.
We’ll also explore with you, areas where you may experience challenges. There will be an opportunity for you to share your experiences and ideas to improve the process for all employers in the sector.
To get the most out of the day we will ask you in the sign up questions if there is anything specific you’d like to find out at the event and if you have any ideas about how our process can be improved.

Previous knowledge and experience of registration and supporting staff with Social Care Wales registration is essential.
