Dementia Action Plan Survey
Shaping the New Dementia Action Plan for Wales
The development of a new Dementia Action Plan for Wales is underway, building on the progress achieved through the current plan introduced in 2018 and its companion document published in 2021. This work aims to refine priorities in dementia care and support across Wales, with input from stakeholders playing a key role in shaping the future plan.
Purpose of the Survey
The survey seeks to gather feedback on key areas of focus for the engagement process surrounding the new plan. Responses will help identify topics of importance and guide discussions during upcoming engagement activities.
This survey is part of an ongoing dialogue to inform the final plan and does not aim to address all elements of its content at this stage.
Evaluation of the Current Plan
An independent evaluation of the existing plan is being conducted to:
- Assess its successes
- Identify areas for improvement
The feedback collected through the survey will complement this evaluation and support the development of the new plan.
