Hearing Aid Maintenance, Battery Supply, Advice & Hearing Checks – Powys

Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) hearing aid user support service is funded by Powys Local Health Board and enables people to make the most of their hearing aids and manage their hearing loss effectively. Services include re-tubing, ear mould cleaning, and battery replacement (NHS hearing aids only). The service also provides information on how to look after and fit hearing aids, coping with hearing loss, equipment, and communication tips.

RNID Near You Volunteers can signpost support on managing hearing loss and have undergone hearing health training. Hearing checks can be delivered remotely, and information about other services that RNID offers can be provided by the volunteers.
