Disability Confident Scheme And How It Can Benefit Your Business
On the 10th October 2024, Legacy in the Community, in partnership with Merthyr Jobcentre Plus and DWP, will be co-hosting an event at Merthyr College aimed at promoting and encouraging participation in the ‘Disability Confident Scheme.’
As you may know, the Disability Confident Scheme is a UK government initiative designed to support employers in recruiting and retaining disabled individuals and those with health conditions.
This event will address the low uptake of the ‘Disability Confident Scheme’ by connecting participating employers with those who have not yet joined. It will serve as a platform to discuss the benefits of the scheme, share best practices, and foster a more inclusive work environment.
