Wellbeing Support for Parent Carers – Workshops and Resources from Contact Cymru

Contact Cymru is offering a range of free wellbeing support for parent carers in Mid and North Powys. This includes in-person workshops, online sessions, and individual support, all designed to help parent carers build resilience, reduce isolation, and connect with others.

In-person Wellbeing Workshops – Brecon
An eight-week, face-to-face wellbeing workshop programme for parent carers will take place at Y Gaer, Brecon, starting in May 2025.

Online Drop-in Sessions – Wales
A series of informal online drop-in sessions will cover a range of topics such as managing stress, Money Matters, going out, and celebrating progress. These sessions are designed to create space for discussion and peer support.

Listening Ear – One-to-One Parent Support
A confidential one-to-one phone service with a parent adviser is also available. Parents can choose a time that suits them to speak privately with a trained adviser.
