RNID In Communities Talks and Free Hearing Checks
Did you know, RNID provide in-person and online information talks for small groups like yours?
We’re delighted to have volunteers available in your areas and would like to offer your group the opportunity to hear from them and learn more about hearing loss. Our talks include:
- An introduction to RNID
- Information on deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus
- How to do a hearing check
- What support to get from RNID
We are also delighted to be able to offer in-person hearing checks for members of your group. This is an important tool that we can help people to check their hearing and usually takes 10-15 minutes and will suggest if the person’s hearing is in normal range or if they may have hearing loss. Hearing is something that people take on average 10 years to address, we hope that by delivering this service we can allow earlier intervention to allow people to take action sooner.
If you’d like us to visit your group, or arrange an online talk, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please get in touch with the RNID Contact Centre to make the arrangements. Contact details are below.
