Nature and wellbeing in education: Survey on needs and gaps for schools and child support services.
For the past 3.5 years, our Wild Skills Wild Spaces (WSWS) | Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust project has connected young people aged (11-17) with nature improving mental and social wellbeing through hands on activities like wildlife conservation and bushcraft.
With funding from The National Lottery set to end in June 2025, they are exploring ways to gain additional funding and extend their work to primary school- aged children and other marginalised youth.
Your insights are invaluable in helping them assess how nature-based activities can fill educational and social needs for children.
By completing our survey here: Start Survey you will help them to understand the specific needs of schools and communities, ensuring their initiatives remain locally relevant and impactful.
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
