Hate Hurts Wales Victim Support Campaign
We are pleased to share the latest activity from the Hate Hurts Wales campaign. This year’s focus is on positioning Victim Support as a judgment-free organisation for individuals impacted by hate crime, and highlighting the confidential support and advice available.
Please note, the following message is from the Hate Hurts Wales campaign team, not authored by us. We encourage you to read their update and support the campaign as outlined:
Our most recent Hate Hurts Wales campaign activity launched yesterday. The focus of this years’ campaign is to help position Victim Support as a judgement free organisation for people impacted by hate crime, and to highlight the confidential support and advice they can offer.
The campaign aims to empower victims to come forward and access the support available to them, and will also continue to raise awareness of what a hate crime is, and promote the different ways in which people are able to report a hate crime.
We will be running our adverts across radio, out of home (large format, rail, street hubs and bus), local press, and digital platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google) throughout August (some formats into early September).
We have also prepared a partner pack for you with links to campaign assets and example social media posts. We would appreciate if you could support the campaign by using these posts on your channels. In light of recent events, we recommend switching off all comments when promoting these assets and closely monitoring any additional activity (e.g. shares/reposts). We would be grateful for any feedback about the response the assets generate.
You can find the partner pack and all campaign assets here.
You can also find more information about hate crime and how to report it here.
Thank you for your support.
